English Country Dance Calendar

This calendar goes to the end of May. But our new halls are air conditioned! This means that our program can go to late June, and we will probably have some dances in July and August as well. Watch for our new summer schedule! Except where otherwise indicated, all dances are on Tuesday evening from 7:00-10:15 pm, at the Philip Coltoff Center, 219 Sullivan Street, Manhattan Members and full-time students with ID: $10; Non-members $13 CDSS members who live 50 miles outside of NYC pay as CD*NY members Please bring a pair of CLEAN, SOFT-SOLED SHOES to change into for the dance. If the shoes have been worn outside, take extra care to scrub off any grit from the soles. Each Tuesday evening, we will begin with an experienced English Country Dance session from 7:00 to 7:30 which will concentrate on challenging dances and figures. Running simultaneously in the kitchen, there will be a beginner's session. Dancers who are still learning the ECD basic figures and repertoire are invited to either join the beginner's session or watch the challenging dances. Dancing for all in the main hall will begin at 7:30.
