Dan has been calling dances since 1979. Born and raised in Little Neck, Queens, Dan now calls Boston home, where he runs the Thursday night dance for NEFFA. Dan has appeared on the staffs at Pinewoods, and at dance weekends from coast to coast. He is American Dance Editor for the Country Dance and Song Society News, Secretary of NEFFA, and CDSS Board member, among other things.
Dan's latest project is a series of English Country Dance CDs for the Boston Centre. Volume I of a series is "Favorites of the Boston Centre." The music is by Bare Necessities, Gene Murrow, producer .
